Mark Bradford is a contemporary artist best known for his large-scale abstract paintings created out of paper. Mark Bradford: Los Angeles is a site-specific exhibition that explores the evolution of Bradford’s practice over the past decade and his treatment of themes from present-day American culture. Inspired by the collage qualities and map linings emerging from different directions in his artworks, I designed a title wall (customized stencil font) to demonstrate his identity, as well as an exhibition space for viewers to experience the power of his artwork.
